Assembly

Attach the front stabilizer (3) and the rear stabilizer (3) to the main frame (19) using two sets of wrench-head bolts (14), curved washers (12) and cap nuts (13).

Install the seat (5) on the seat post (2). Adjust the tilt angle of the seat. Secure it firmly with three flat washers (16) and three nuts (17).

Insert the seat post (2) into the frame (19) and align the holes. Fix the seat in the desired position with the adjustment knob (8). The correct seat height can be adjusted after the machine is fully assembled.

Attach the handlebar (1) to the main frame with two bolts (10) and two flat washers (11). Then connect the console sensor (9) and the speed sensor (18).

The pedals (6) and (7) are marked «L» and «R» — left and right. Connect them to the corresponding crank arms. The right pedal is on the right-hand side of the machine when you sit on it. Please note: the right pedal is tightened clockwise, and the left pedal counter-clockwise.
How to use the locking pin

Fold the frame and lock the structure in the unfolded position by inserting the locking pin (20) into the hole in the main frame.

Batteries
The display is powered by two “AA” or “AG13” batteries. The batteries can be replaced on the back of the unit.
Use
The seat height can be adjusted by removing the adjustment knob and raising or lowering the seat. The seat post has 7 holes that let you choose the right height. Once you have chosen the right level, put the adjustment knob back and tighten it.
The resistance adjustment knob lets you change the load on the pedals. High resistance makes pedaling harder, low resistance makes it easier. For best results, set the resistance while using the bike.
Care, Storage and Maintenance
Cleaning
Regular and thorough cleaning will extend the service life of the upright exercise bike.
Remove dust regularly to keep the exercise bike clean. Make sure your athletic shoes are clean and prevent foreign objects from getting inside the exercise bike.
Workout Tips and Recommendations
Warm-up
At this stage, blood circulation increases and the muscles start working properly. It also reduces the risk of cramps and muscle injuries. It is recommended to do a few stretching exercises as shown below. Hold each exercise for about 30 seconds. Do not force your muscles to stretch through pain — if it hurts, stop.
Training phase
This is the stage where you put in the main effort. With regular training, your leg muscles become more flexible. Work at your own pace, but it is very important to keep a steady rhythm throughout the workout. The load should be high enough for your heart rate to reach the target zone shown in the chart below.

- Heart rate (HR)
- Maximum
- Target zone
- Cool-down
- Age
Cool-down phase
At this stage, the cardiovascular system and muscles gradually recover. It repeats the warm-up exercises — for example, slowing down and continuing light movements for about 5 minutes. Then it is recommended to repeat the stretching exercises without forcing your muscles to stretch through pain.
As your fitness improves, you will be able to train longer and harder. It is recommended to exercise at least three times a week and, if possible, spread your workouts evenly over the week.
Weight loss
The main factor here is the level of effort. The longer and harder you train, the more calories you burn. Essentially, this training is similar to training for fitness — the only difference is the goal.
Muscle tone
To work the muscles on the Genau XT-150, you need to set a fairly high resistance. This increases the load on the leg muscles and may shorten the total workout time. If you also want to improve your overall fitness, adjust your workout program slightly. Start and finish the workout at a normal pace (warm-up and cool-down phases), and at the end of the main phase increase the resistance to make your legs work harder. At the same time, reduce your speed slightly so that your heart rate stays in the target zone.
Exercises
A successful exercise program consists of three parts: warm-up, cardio training and cool-down.
Warm-up is a very important part of a workout. A warm-up must be done before every workout. It helps warm up the body, stretch the muscles and allows the body to adapt to more intense exercise.
Repeating the warm-up at the end of the exercise can help relieve muscle soreness.
We suggest doing the appropriate warm-up and cool-down exercises according to the following scheme:

Head rolls
First pull your head toward your right shoulder, stretch your neck and turn your head once clockwise and once counterclockwise; pull your head toward your left shoulder and make one turn counterclockwise. Repeat.

Shoulder lifts
Raise your left shoulder and make 5 backward rotations; then raise your right shoulder and make 5 backward rotations, alternating sides.

Side stretch
Raise your arms above your head, then grasp your right wrist with your left hand and reach upward until you feel your right arm fully stretched. Hold for 5 seconds before switching to the other arm.

Quadriceps stretch
Holding onto a wall with your right hand for balance, pull your left foot back with your left hand, bringing the heel as close to your buttock as possible. Hold for 15 seconds, then repeat with the other leg.

Inner thigh stretch
Sitting on the floor, put the soles of your feet together, clasp them with both hands and pull them in as close to your body as possible. Slowly press down on both heels and hold this position for 15 seconds.

Toe touch
Slowly bend forward, relax your back and shoulders and reach for your toes. Bend as low as you can and hold the position for up to 15 seconds.

Hamstring stretch
Sit down, straighten your right leg, bend your left leg, grab your left ankle with your left hand and push it inward so that your left foot is as close to your torso as possible and the sole of the foot is against the inside of your right thigh. Then press forward with your body and reach both arms forward to touch your toes; the more pressure, the better. Hold this position for 15 seconds and switch to the left leg.

Calf stretch
Lean against a wall with both hands, tilt your body at a 45-degree angle to the floor and alternately move your left and right legs back, as if walking.
